An institution in Riberac since 1832, the wonderful Cafe des Colonnes epitomises the typical old-style french cafe with its characterful interior and smartly dressed waiters. Other than Friday (market day) you can enjoy sitting under the cool shade of the plane trees opposite while you watch the world go by.

The food is simple but very reasonably priced, plus they serve all day albeit with a limited menu outside of normal lunchtime hours. On market day the cafe is simply buzzing and full of life - don’t miss it!
